Bought my SRT8 via DHL last week. I'm in Vancouver, WA, and the SRT is in Phoenix. Will be home on Tuesday night. Will pick it up on Wednsday. Renting a 300C up here and was really impressed so went for it.

Got a 1958 Sartoga 4dr 354 2bbl for graduation in 1966

Had a 1967 GTX in 1968

In 1969 I junked a 1961 300G convertible that I bought for $150.00 and put the drivetrain in a 1955 Belair 2DR HDTP. 4.56, Isky 310, 2 750 Holleys, B&M Torqueflie, etc. Yeah I ruined 2 great cars, but I was 21.

1965 426 Street Wedge Satilite in 1972 with 5000 stall 8" hemi converter, reverse valve body manual TQflte, Hookers, General Kinetics, and on and on.

A warm welcome to you Hal, and congrats on a great choice with your 300C. I'm sure the wait between now and delivery will seem like forever but that will soon disappear. Hubbeee and I are currently restoring my '55 Nomad and I'll be posting progress pics in my picture gallery soon.

We have quite a contingency of members in AZ so be sure to check out the South Western forum and make yourself known there.
Enjoy the forums!!

Thanks for the welcome and for the reassuring words on the TSBs. Sometimes you read stuff like that and lose perspective on how many occurances there are verses the number of vehicles on the road without those problems. I'm curious about the transmission problems related to AC run off in particular. I've read in the forum that a few 300 owers who have that problem are running into dealership who refuse to do the TSB, especially those owners trying to get it done before the problem leaves them stranded. Do you know of anyone who "paid" to have the work done rather than risking future transmisison problems? I believe I read the AC run off could be re-routed or something along that line...

Thanks again!

Thank You

Already made a few posts in the South Western Forum. !st 2 reponses where aimed at the dislike of the dealer I bought the SRT from. So will avoid that issue. Got a good deal by most standards. Didn't have to order and wait.

Im the new guy !!!!!!

hello, my name is Chris. I work for a company that does commercial roofing, on state and federal buildings all across the New York state and up to Connecticut. I just recently bought a 2006 Chrysler 300C. It is all stock at this time, but over this winter it will go under some minor construction. I am looking at putting the TIS (Twenty Inches Strong) wheels either the #07 or the #08, and not sure 22's or 24's. And another thing will be the magnaflow exhaust system, love the sound. Last but not least lambo doors, its still up in the air, not sure if i would like that or not.
