Exclamation dditt

2006 Hemi 300c Has Anyone Solved The Throttle Responce Problem? I'm Open For Suggestions. I Tried The Resetting Suggested On The Forum And It Didn't Work On The 2006 Hemi. This Car Is Like A Little Old Lady Off The Line, And The Dealer Says It Shows No Codes. No I Didn't Buy A Dragester But I Would Like To Get Out Of My Own Way. Thanks Don Ditt

Welcome to the forum, Don.

How many miles on your C at this point? Engine really wakes up after 4000 miles.

Are you using the autostick? Using it helps train the computer to give more aggresive shifts.

Pull out fuse 11 with the engine off. this turns off power to the computer and forces a reset, but does not cause problems with radio setings, auto windows, etc.

Leave it out for an hour. Then reinsert and try the car. If throttle hesitation is still there, change to another dealership for service. Your problem is probably in the computer software.

The 300C is scary fast and almost everyone is enjoying the rapid acceleration, fantastic brakes and awesome handling.

Good luck.

Welcome Don, sorry to hear you are disappointed in your C. NR is spot on re: the fuse and a new stealer, ahem, dealer. I thought all this stuff was supposed to be sorted out in the second year? Guess we'll see some new posts on the right pull and 55-58 mph resonance, ahhh, those were the days, eh NR.

NR hit it on the head. In short your car is still learning how you drive so put it where you want it as soon as possible. Take it up & down the ladder on WOT then go to auto stick & push the envelope. NO you wont hurt your baby you'll be potty training it so to speak.Worked for meand I have a beast that is still learning.

D Ditt here: I've tried everything I can come up with, still no luck. You have a selected choice of running here in Houston, Texas, so it's not to easy to run this car. The last time I strung it out it fell on it's face at 75 MPH, and quit pulling. In conjunction with no soft throttle responce, you can't take off normal or fast without a jerk. I read where Northern Rider was going back to the track and pull the no.13 fuse out to turn off the traction and stability control, anyone have any input on this.
