Thumbs up Newbie to Forum with new car

Yipppeee!!! well my Silver Metallic 300C AWD is finally here. Ordered on April 12 and finally delivered to dealer in 11/7/05. Ordered with Sound Grp. II, Prot. Grp. II, U-Connect, Walnut trim. Dealer was awesome to deal with (Darcars of Fairfax). I live in NJ and ordered this from a dealer in VA. Great price, no hi-pressure sales tactics. So I am flying down there next weekend to pick up the beast and will do a leisurely drive home on Sunday. Just wanted to thank all of the contributors to this board because I have been surfing it for a while now Great information and great advice, I have used the information here to guide me in my purchase decision and very eagerly look forward to my first Chrysler product. I currently use a 1990 TBird SC (supercharged V-6 - bought new) as my daily driver. Needed something that was AWD, but I always like something with an "attitude." the C qualified hands down. Plus for the price, I do not think there is anything that comes close in terms of performance and looks for the dollar.

Congrats on the new ride. You will enjoy the drive home. I just drove mine to SEMA in Las Vegas and home, what a car is all I can say. You have made a great choice.

Sam we must think alike - - I just replaced My 1990 Tbird SC with my 2005 300C. I must have a thing for Motor Trend "cars of the year". I just hope my 300C proves to be as good a car and as much fun as my SC was. So far it has exceeded my expectations; I don't regret it one bit. Welcome!

Want DRL's?

Congrats on the new car! You are going to have a blast driving it home. I picked up my 300C in September and had a wonderful 300 mile drive home.

When you pick up your car, you might ask the dealer to enable your Daytime Running Lights if you want them. Least they can do since you bought the car from them. You might want to call your sales person and ask if they can take care of it for you. Just a thought, as your local dealer might be more apt to charge you for the service.
