Greetings from Scotland

Hi peeps. Ive just bought a black RHD HEMI here in Edinburgh - the friendly folks at the dealership have promised delivery around the end of this month.

By my calculations itll cost me about £220 (roughly $380) a month in fuel - compared to the £80 or so a month my little Lotus Elise enjoys but then thats the price we Brits pay for the luxury of owning a V8.

Ive spec'ed it out with the gorgeous, subtle Startech bodykit complete with 20" monostar alloys - check out www.startech.de for photos. I'll take a couple of pics and post them up when this thing arrives. Dont laugh when you see how it takes up both lanes of the cobbled streets around here...

Anyway thats all, had to say hello, hoping to get some great tips from the forum.

Thumbs up

Welcome aboard, BB. My wife and I knock about Scotland when we get a chance. You're not kidding when youj talk about narrow lanes!

We are getting quite a collection of Brits here. You might get a kick out of the current UK Owners Thread.

Welcome bb, and congrats on your new car. We'll look forward to seeing the pics... especially some with gorgeous Scot landscapes as background.

Hi Bastardboy,

This ape has Scottish lineage, and an SRT8 - great car, exept for the petrol consumption, empties the sporran too quickly.

Ya know were going to be invaded by brits with the UK release. Better get those language translators out.

Welcome aboard BB.

I rode in the front seat of a tour bus through Scotland and Ireland last year. It scared the h**l out of me. We really had a great time the people are real friendly. You well enjoy you ride as much or more than I do. WELCOME

Hi bastardboy

Please be wary of the North American deviants who pollute the virtual waters on this fine website.

May I be as bold as to suggest that you visit the UK Owners section of said website where we can discuss the finer points of your vehicle without having to suffer vulgarities from those dreadfully common people across the English Ocean (or as you call it the Scottish Ocean).
