I'm here as a request

Hello everyone,

I have a 2005 Magnum SXT that I bought for my wife for her birthday. We were going to get a 300 but we just had a baby in May. My wife did not want a minivan or an SUV. What better than a hotrod station wagon.

I have driven other Mopars in the past. A couple of K cars (learned to drive in one), a 1988 Dodge Daytona, and an old friend was a Mopar nut so I got to ride around in his '69 Challenger or his '70 Charger. I have long been a Mopar fan.

A little more about me. I make a living designing packages and displays using corrugated paper. I spent 10 years in the US Coast Guard as a machinery technition. I have been married for 18 years now and we just had our first child.

Thanks for having me here. I know some of my mechanical issues may also be some of yours. So, if I have any possible cross platform problems I will post here as well as at LXforums.com.

My, that's certainly one thirsty baby you have there. Welcome aboard and don't worry about crossing platforms, as we're just all one big happy family here.

Last night, my wife and I looked at an Inferno Red 'Magnum R/T' at 'the other' Chrysler/Dodge dealer...located in one of our adjacent cities. It's a beautiful vehicle and exactly like the one which I wanted to purchase last year; however, no local dealerships were able to locate one for me at that time. That particular dealership has several 300s, Magnums, and Chargers in stock, and they're no longer adding their $3,000 mark-up like they did last year.

This being said, my wife spotted something else on their lot which really captured her attention...the new Dodge 'Ram 1500 Mega Cab' truck. Wow, is that thing a monster! It has immense interior cabin space, comes with a 5.7L HEMI motor, and it's also the first production passenger truck to actually have rear reclining seats.
