Smile Counting down the sleeps!

Hi everyone. Firstly my thanks to HEMEEE for the Forum and helping me get all the information I needed to place my order for an Aussie 300C. I was so inspired by those who've waited soooo long for their cars and the enjoyment they've had from them that I just had to have one too!

I live in Melbourne, Australia and will hopefully take delivery on Friday this week of my brand new 2006 Bright Silver 300C with all the goodies. Just like my eldest daughter is counting down the sleeps 'til Christmas, Friday can't come soon enough for me.

Thanks for having me and all the great stuff I've been able to read so far.

Welcome Snoopy, don't worry, this place will fill those sleepless nights until you have your car.

I saw that you introduced yourself over in your "neighbor" Hemi57's thread in the Overseas forum. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him and his charming wife when they were traveling in California recently, and let him test drive my car. I'm not sure if that helped his wait, or made it worse, but they are great fun people, hope you're able to eventually hook up with them.

P.S. This isn't my forum, I just help out a little bit and, if I get the chance I post once in awhile

Congrats on the car, I'm sure that you will love it. Good luck though with the "sleepless nights" till it get in your posession. I have a 2006 Bright Silver 300C loaded myself, and it's a fabulous car.

Hey HEMEEE, you may not believe this but, snoopy works for the same company at the same location as me. If I can get him to come to work as early as I do each morning , then we can really have the pair of 300Cs parked together.

Hey, small world... Once he gets the car he may need to catch up on his sleep though, so good luck with that!

Counting down the sleeps!

Hi Hemi57 and HEMEEE. Lost at least 2 hours sleep last night already but there's only 3 sleeps to go!

Funny isn't it how I saw HEMI 57 in the carpark at work with the proud owner on my way to the Chrysler dealership to go for a test drive. It seems that destiny caught up with me.

Both my grandfathers worked at Chrysler in Adelaide during the 70's and 80's and my family transport when I was a kid was a Chrysler Regal, Chrysler Galant and Chrysler Centura.

It truly is a small world.

Welcome Aussie! I'm glad you have found a connection in Australia, not to mention at work! That in itself is amazing. You make Australia sound so near, as if you were just in another state! Anticipation awaits you....

Thanks for all the warm welcomes......

There's good news! I think. I paid the dealer last night and I got a registration number so it MUST be close. I'm just waiting for the dealer to call me with the good news. The suspense is really eating at me but I'm comforted in the knowledge that most have waited FAR longer and survived!

If I disappear for a day or two, you'll know she's arrived!
