Nice Mopar............my dad had a green one.

Welcome to the club! Just don't be too apprehensive about asking any questions, 'cause there's always somebody here with an answer...day and night.

WELCOME! Is that a late model Charger, or Challenger? I had Mags like that on my '68 Charger. Brought back a lot of great memories!

Glad to have you around!!

Many here from all backgrounds; racing, technical, professional, artists, engineers, bums. Ask anything (except the proverbial oil question, I recommend you search on that first, haha) and ye shall receive help!
We ran out of HEMEEEs cookies and NR's beer for the welcome wagon, so I think we'll just all send you a fruitcake!
Enjoy.........

Sorry, I glazed over the "n00b" section - didn't even see it.

Won't be buying today, just giving it a test drive. I've already driven the regular 300C & absolutely loved it. Fortunately, I knew the S/RT-8 was coming, so I didn't buy then. Today's test drive determines when I go to order one & what options I select.

It's a '74 SE. Here's where the Charger is headed:

Uhh.....someone just hold onto the fruitcake & I'll come get it...yeah...that's the ticket.....

Here's what I'll be selling off in exchange for the S/RT-8:

Here's the "daily driver":

All I can say is:

O!M!F!G! I just drove the S/RT-8 300C! It ROCKS!!

I do believe that I have to have one! The regular 300C Hemi doesn't hold a candle to it! So much more HP & torque! Tight-ass steering & suspension! Easily as comfortable as the regular 300C Hemi. The Multi-Displacement System is not available in the S/RT-8 (I like that).

As soon as I get back from my month-long vacation.....

It's been difficult finding one to test drive. This one is available only because the guy who ordered cancelled his order at the last minute. The car just arrived Wednesday & when they called the guy to let him know it was in, he backed out of it. This one had all available options, except for the "13 Kicker SRT High-Performance Speakers" (which I want) & the "Rear Seat Entertainment Video System" (which I do not want). Other than that - it's exactly the car I'm looking for.

The same dealer sells Dodges too, but cannot get his hands on the Charger S/RT-8. I'll have to wait to drive that one. They do have the "soon-to-be-discontinued" Dodge S/RT-10 truck. About a half-dozen on the lot & they're ready to "deal" on these just to get them off their inventory before the end of the year.

It's gonna be a tough choice..... [/quote]
