Have not figured that out yet. But anyhow that should be the reason for slightly
different license plate location.
Hi Flying Finn

please excuse me for asking what may be a stupid question but you may be just the man I am looking for !

I see that you have got a "Bentley Style" grill on your car with the numberplate mounted underneath. If you have a standard grill the numberplate mounts through it, but with your grill it is unable to !

My local dealer is trying to get the numberplate mount just right so that it looks as good as it can (like yours really !). Iknow you said that the car came like that from the dealer, but could you please ask your dealer about where he got the mount from as it looks EXACTLY like what I would like to do in England.

Thanks in advance

Hello Murphy The Cat.

My dealer told me, that it came like this.
If yours did not, that should be no problem.
The original is usually black plastic mount. I have seen some cars
with the mount turned upside down. That way it is mounted a little
lower. See pic, and you get it.
You can also screw the plate directly to the bumper with no mountings.
I have seen that also.
Or just bend a proper mounting from a piece metal, just like mine.
See pic

Thumbs up

Flying Finn,

Wow, for a new member with only a half dozen posts under your belt, you've certainly been extremely helpful already...keep up the excellent work. I also appreciate the fact that you took the time to post such a thorough description of your Euro model, as I'm sure this has answered many questions which several of us have had for quite sometime now. A big welcome from a 'Nederlandse vent' now residing in the United States.

Welcome Flying Finn, I saw your thread earlier, but something came up, and I couldn't post right then. Gee, these people here at work, sometimes actually expecting you to DO SOMETHING.
Flying Finn, didn't I see you on the SPEED channel this past week at the test track as the Ferrari plant? Oh sorry, another Flying Finn.
Congrats on your new car. I like the looks of the Touring, and that's a great color. I love my 5.7L Hemi, but the diesel would be easier on the pocketbook.
Take care, and enjoy your new ride.

Thanks Guys !
So much fun to be part of the team.
And yep, there are at least two kind of Flying Finns.
Others do it in the sky, and the others on the road

Moikka !

Kiva kuulla muista!

Talvikumit 235/60 18" Nokia Hakkapeliitta 4:set. Pitoa ainakin löytyy riittämiin.
en vielä ole ostanu toisia vanteita, kun en oikein tidä mitä haluaisin tai kummosia.

Elite sivuilla myös käyty ja aika paljon muillakin vastaavilla on tultu pyörittyä.

Ikkunatummennukset on jo. Sen olen huomannu et taustapeilin automaattitummennus on ehkä vähän pielessä. Sais olla tummempi. Johtuneekohan noista kalvoista. Otin ne jo alkujaan joten en pysty vertailemaan ilman tummennuksia olevaan.

Kyynärnojaan kaipaisin hieman korkeutta lisää. Olen pohtinut korokepalan laittoa. Katsotaan mihin homma johtaa.
