Welcome to the forum and watch out -- this site can become addictive.

Just briefly, MDS is a computer run system whereby under light crusing, 4 of the 8 cylinders are deactivated, providing fuel economy. I am sure there are forum members who can explain better and the sales brochure for the car explains, somewhat, the process.

Enjoy your new baby.

Great way to start the new year!

Welcome GBall! This place is our home away from home for many of us and is our second family (complete with that wacky uncle that everyone talks about after he leaves)!

MDS is pretty nice. Coming home on New Year's Eve I reset my MPG while cruising at 62 mph on the highway with cruise and it maintained 28.9!! THAT, my friend is the benefit. Oh and the .040 response time to go back to full 8 cylinders and 340 units of hemispherically enhanced horsepower!

If you see a topic you're interested in or have a question about, don't be shy jump right in and welcome aboard!

Do you like cowbell??

Glad our forum members chimed in quickly to answer your question. Then again, that's what this place is all about. My brother lived in Everett for many years but now makes his new home in Edmonds. Welcome GBall!

Glad to add you to the brood,
Now that I'm in a good mood,
Feel free to ask what you must,
We are people you can certainly trust,
Some of our cars are modded,
While some are just hot rodded,
You too will soon feel the bite,
To make your car just right.

I'm Cueball the screwball, as HEMEEE once said
I ain't quite right, since I landed on my head.

Good luck!
