Post Hello to the 300 family

Just got my new Brilliant Black 300 Signature and am loving the forum - great tips and help on all the questions i have been having.

This is the first car I have had with a back seat in about 7 years. I went from roadsters to a limo as my friends say.

Thinking about doing some aftermarket work:

Uconnect
Black and Chrome mesh grill
Chrome sides on the windows
Tinted windows

What i would like to know more of is aftermarket Xenons. I have read about the brightness of getting just the bulbs, but what is the right way to go about getting aftermarket xenons added that provide the focus.

Also I want to tint the windows but am not sure about what percentage to use. I want to tint all 5 windows the same tint.

Welcome bon_gia, enjoy your car and the forums!

- Tint has been addressed many times here and you'll find lotsa details using "search" but basically, avoid metallic tints (radio interference) and dyed tints (turn purple) As for %age, you may want to check your state's DMV site to determine what's legal, if you're not concerned with that then take a look at some of the member pics and senda PM to those that have the look you like. Remember that the darker you go, the more you are limiting your vision in dark situations... I went with 35%, pic below:

- As for your lighting question, here is an FAQ for an HID conversion. Not sure of a xenon thread but you could try a search for this if someone doesn't chime in...

Again, welcome!
