New Aussie member

G'day guys,

My name is Shane. I just placed my order for a Black 300C with sunroof - am very excited! These cars were only released in Australia in November 2005 and there is a 3 month wait for mine already! I've been keeping tabs on this site over the last couple of months and i have found it very imformative with everyone there to help one another out. I'm looking forward to being an active member and hopefully everyone out there can help me with any questions i may have. I will be sure to post some photos when I get my car - probably not until March or April though! What a bummer - i don't think I can wait that long! I've already decided on a set of TIS 07 22" wheels and a Mopar cat-back exhaust. These cars are very rare over here so i am sure to stand out with a very unique car!
Anyway, just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself and I look forward to speaking with anyone out there!

Cheers,
Shane

Hey AussieHemi and welcome
have u checked out the Australian forum? There is a couple of other guys from your way on this site too.
I am having trouble getting TIS 07's in 20" and was offered 22's for the same price as 20's the other day as they sent the wrong ones but dont want them and will just have to keep waiting for the 20's. Been on order since october.

Thanks man,
How do i check out the Australian Forum? Would be keen to get to know some locals with the same car.
I got my quote for the wheels from Wheelboyz in QLD. i found them really helpful and willing to answer any questions i had. I will definitely use them when it comes to getting the wheels and tyres. would love to see some pics of yours when you get them.
Cheers

Welcome Shane,
Congrats on the new 300c. I'm sure you're gonna love the car and I know the wait is worth it. I waited for what seemed like an eternity for my sons GTO/Monaro to get here from your side of the world. They must have loaded it on a slow boat.LOL.
Scott

Hey Scott,
Thanks for your reply. Can't wait to get this car. i've loved them since i first laid eyes on them! How do you like the Monaro/GTO? They are very popular over here. I beleive the US versions sound much better than ours though.
