New from Orange,CA

I am new to Chrysler. I just traded my 2001 Lexus GS in for a 2005 300C. I am very happy with the car so far, except I can not believe such a nice car does not come standard with HIDs. The car has about 34,000, with a airraid intake, and what looks like a custom "WICKED" (never heard of them) exhaust and a set of cheap (in tearms of Name, quality) 22' rims wrapped with perrelli scorpions. I do not know much, and any comments would be great. I had a supercharger on the GS and was getting about 350whp and 329lbs of TQ. I am looking forward to learning about this beautiful car and what all the different modifications are availible. The first thing I want to do is get some HIDs (any thoughts), and then maybe headers. I look forward to also making some new chrysler buddies.

Thanks

John P.

Welcome Fix,
I'm an OC guy myself. As for the HID's, I purchased mine from factoronegarage.com and I love them. They were easy to install and they are very impressive. Take advantage of this site. There are so many knowlegable forum members and lots of great vendors. Have fun. -Your new Chrysler buddy - ERIC

Welcome to the forums fixtheglitch! You certainly live in the land of the Meet & Greets. I am so envious of you for that. Seeing is believing and any ideas or questions you have on mods, performance etc. can be seen or answered at these events. As Mighty Noid has pointed out, there's a M&G tonight in Huntington Beach!!! Everyone is friendly and more than willing to show you their cars, offer advice or just hang out with. Enjoy your ride and the forums!

Welcome from our 300Cs in WV! For sure make the Beach Burger thing if you can spare the time. Some great guys (and gals) and cars there. I even made it in May... and hope to be back in Sept.

Welcome!!!! What type of S/C did you have on the GS? I haven't ever heard of a S/C'd one but it sounds awesome!
