new to this site

Hey just new to this sight. Really like what you can gather from here. I just got my new 06 300c about 2 months ago. Absolutely love this car. There are soo many aftermarket items that you can get for the 300c. There are a bunch of questions that I was wondering about though. I just put some 22's on............I was wondering if they will affect how the esp works, also I would like to lower it but afraid that the wheels will rub. Can I change the lights in the fog lights..........I don't turn them on because they don't match the HID headlights. I apprectiate any help or suggestions. thx Z

Welcome to the forums Z-Man! Lots of people have gone with 22" wheels and I've never heard of problems with ESP. Also for lowering, KW V2 suspension is very popular here. Here's just one of many threads on 22" wheels with mention of lowering Needed! Pics Of Your 22" Wheels

Here's an excellent post from Meister on the best fog lights, including prices and links to where you can get them. http://www.300cforums.com/forums/151190-post6.html There are also posts you can search for on how to change the bulbs out yourself. Enjoy you ride and your time here. Now we need pics.

Welcome aboard!!!!!! Don't have an answer for the esp. It all depends how much you want to lower it and what offset your wheels are. Yes you can get HID lights for your fogs. You are going to have a blast here!!! LOL!!

Welcome Z from our 300Cs in WV! I would expect the ESP to be affected by the difference (if any) of wheel mass as it may affect the computer's calculations of interial direction and force, etc. That's my best guess.

Welcome and thanks to Rambit it looks like you have the info to get you started. In my opinion (which does not mean crap, btw) I say you lower the car correctly, then think about the wheels. 22's without lowering these cars looks like a cockroach going down the road.

Here's a little something to get you started posting pics. I suggest you use the Photobucket method. Get your kids to show you how to do it then kick them out...haha. It really isn't that hard to navigate around here. Any question, just ask.
