i'm here to pick your brains

just want to say i have been reading the forum for about a month now. It is a pretty good thing you have here and i am proud to be a part of it now. I have one of the first 2006 SRT8's to land in Alberta. I picked it up in February...mind u couldn't really start to use it until end of march due to the snow. I already have 8700 miles on it and it gets better and better each mile. have a new real billet grill and headlight/taillight covers (which suck). also blackedout the back window and went 20% on the sides. No performance upgrades other than me driving it.

I would like to add the following and please give me your choice for each:
  1. add an sts turbo system - no choice here only sts (also heard that this is best with stock exhaust)
  2. cai kit - ???
  3. tinted healamps (actually black inside the housing with only the bulbs chrome similar to the charger) and tinted tail lamps
  4. new rotors and dust free or limiting pads - ???
  5. suspension upgrades, sway bars - ???
that's it for now, maybe some exhaust tips if i don't change the exhaust.

anyways once again happy to be apart of this forum and look forward to contributing to and learning from the vast knowledge contained in this website

Welcome and congratulations on your purchase! Here are a couple of threads about the brakes and Hennessey’s turbo development. There are many threads on CAI’s…..mopar etc. and debate on suspensions and rear end upgrades. I’m sure others will chime in as well. Good luck and enjoy!

Welcome aboard! I would suggest contacting Hennessy if you're looking for a turbo. In regards to intakes, I have heard mixed things. Some have swapped from the Mopar intake to the GSM with good gains, which you might want to keep in mind.
