Second LX added to the Family.

I purchased a Dodge Charger Daytona about 1 month ago. Since then my wife has greatly enjoyed driving it to the point that she wanted a car as well. (She was driving a 2003 Chevy Silverado - quadrasteer)

Yesterday we purchased a used 2006 300c with about 12,000 miles on it. I thought my Charger was loaded, but the 300c has more toys on it than a charger owner could dream of. (well, more than he could get anyway)

It is loaded with every option except all wheel drive and the engine block heater. (Black with Sunroof, NAV, Rear seat Video, Protection group, sound group 2, Wood Trim, HID lights, U-Connect, etc.)

We drove about 90 miles to pick it up and got a good deal on it (considering its sticker price was over $41K) and better than any other dealer offered us for our trade ($1,000 over Blue Book Value).

My wife loves it but is having some buyers remorse over the purchase price. It was a good deal but still alot of money. I am sure she will end up liking it as much as I like the charger.

What is the boards feelings on Extended warrantees. I purchased one on my charger since it was the first year of production for them. With the amount of options that the 300 has - I am thinking about purchasing one for it as well, but am still undecided as of yet.

Anyway - just wanted to say hello.

Michael

Welcome Go! Congrats on the LX's too. There's tons of threads around here on extended warranties. Just type those words into the search feature and you'll come up with lots of opinions for and against. Now I guess the only thing left is to get you to post some pics.

Welcome to the forums GoManGo! Congrats on the 2nd LX. I wish the wife would get an LX also but she's stuck to her Benz like glue. Hope to see you around the forums!

Congratulations Go Mango on another fantastic LX model purchase. The 300C is a fine car with plenty of toys to amuse your wife. (sorry) Options to enjoy. The HID’s for example are incredible and should help her drive at night.
Here is a recent thread about warranties. If this doesn’t answer your questions there are tons more in the search area.
