My car's first day

Hello again everyone!

I finally picked up my new Inferno Red HE. What a beaut! God I already love this car and I only have 102 miles on it. I gotta tell ya this though. When I was at the dealer to pick up the ride, the sales guy was trying to show me how to program the key to return my seats, et. al. to their set positions. For an hour he tried and tried, but to avail. Another, perhaps more experienced sales guy tried, but couldn't get it. Then the Service Manager got in and tried. No luck. BTW, after reading it here in the forum about the fuses not being pushed in all the way, I mentioned it to the service guy. He sortof smirked like, yeah right. We popped the hood and found at least six fuses not seated properly. He looked at me and said "I have never heard of that before." We popped the trunk and checked the others and found 3 more. You guys rock. Anyway, after two hours "picking up" my new car and expressing how dissapointed I was, I made my first service appointment and drove away. Not my idea of having fun. Then, while at work, the sales guy called and said it was bugging him that the memory wouldn't work and he did some digging. He found some new way to do it, and he drove all the way across town just to set my seats for me. I was now more impressed and now have working seats. Apparently, there was some new training on this in June to the dealerships and they all forgot. Oh, well. Did I mention I love this car!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grasshopper

What a great story about your car! 300c forums comes through once again! That was very professional of your sales person to drive to your work and set your seats after the original confusion. I can see you already enjoy your new baby and encourage you to keep on driving it. Don't forget to get back to GoofyTim regarding your build date.

Congratulations!
bruno

I was totally impressed with the sales guy. It was a bit above the call since it was then a service issue. . . See, sales guys/gals have a conscious.
