Hi

Hi,

I've been reading posts in this forums for close to a year. Tons and tons of great and useful information. Well last night I took the plunge. I bought a used 2005 300C with 14k miles, loaded up with everything but HIDs. Private sale so I believe recieved a good deal. Is there anything that I should check for to make sure that any recalls have been taken care of?
I've gotten the mod bug with all my previous cars so its only a matter of time before I get modding again. I'll be posting pics a soon.

welcome aboard and CONGRATS!!!!!!!Find out what dealer he bought it from and check the history of the car. You can purchase HID's from Intense HID, they are a supporting vendor here.

Congratulations and welcome to the 300c forums. Any Chrysler/Dodge dealership should be able to pull up the service history on your vehicle, especially if it was brought in for warranty work, recalls, or TSBs.

Also, you can check all the notifications from DCX by going to this updated link on our forum provided by ResumeSpeed.

You can also check this link from the Chrysler website. Just type in the last 8 numbers of your vin to check for any recalls on your vehicle.

Welcome from our 300Cs in WV. We purchased our '05 Blue with only power pedals and walnut trim for $30k at end Sept. with 14.k miles as a 14 mo Certified Pre-owned from a dealer. So if you beat that you did good!

Thanks for the link, I entered in the last 8 numbers - No Incomplete Recalls or Customer Satisfaction Notifications Exist

Looks like the previous owner has taken care of her. Off to a great start.

Thumbs up

Yes, you will get that Mod Bug soon after driving a 300, and this is the best place to be, when not driving.
