Getting My Feet Wet

Hi all,

Just took the plunge into the modern MOPAR world with the purchase of a new 2007 300C. My purchase included the SRT design pkg, not to deceive, but because I liked many of the added features of the design pkg, especially the SRT seats, for this old, fat-ass. No pics available yet of the 300C.

I have been doing MOPAR resto's for several years now. I enjoy the hunt for parts most of all. Please feel to visit my yahoo site where I have posted the progress of my latest project (if you're into old MOPAR's).

I look forward to exchanging info with the group on 300C's.

BTW I am AKA, Wayne

WELCOME from our LXs in the Ohio River hills of West Virginia! Glad to have you around. Ever worked on restoring a '68 Charger? I'd love to get my hands on one again!

Tim, No experience w/68 Charger's specifically, but did own a '68 383 Auto, Fastback, Cuda in the early '70's. Definitely hard to find straight, rust free Charger's (or any 60's MOPAR project car) these days!

I know... shoulda kept mine... but thought I'd never be in position to restore or do anything with it other than watch it rust to nothing beside my house.

Welcome Wayne! Congratulations on your brand new SRT-Design 300c! That is one nice LX with those extra features. You need to hook up with all the AZ LX members because there are many of them here as well as LX Forums and they have all kinds of get togethers.

Sorry to hear you're having quite the heat wave right now. Guess I shouldn't be complaining with the 108 we will have by later this afternoon. No scorpions around here but you're welcome to hunt for all the other critters around here.

Welcome!
bruno

Welcome to the forum Wayne! I've found folks to be very helpful and very knowledgeable here. Once you get your prerequisite 4 posts, we want to see pictures of your new 300C, and you will be able to post your yahoo site link as well.

Welcome to this great site Wayne!!! Lots of good people here who'll make you feel right at home. There's plenty of info here. If you can't find it, just ask. A couple of more posts and you'll be able to post pics and your link.

Howdy Wayne - welcome from Peoria - check out azlxc.com for the LXforums AZ LX club stuff - we've got a good bunch here in town, like bruno said!

What's with the user name? I'm a big fan of the blacklight scorp hunt - do it in the barn every week or so - pretty fun... once found a momma with maybe 20 tiny babies riding on her back...

Hope to meet you soon!
