Hello everyone. My name is Steve, I'm 20, and I'm currently a student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (I grew up in Nashville). I've been lurking here for a while because I've always found the 300 to be an attractive car.

My daily car is a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, which got the job done in highschool and college thus far, but being 6'4 240 I kind of need something with a little more room. I also own a 2005 Lincoln Town Car, and even though it's fully loaded and nice, I'm not really at the point in my life where I would feel comfterable driving a Town Car. I'm about ready to sell/trade both of those and get a new car that I can enjoy until I'm out of school and well into my life in the "real world".

Seeing as gas prices are arm and leg these days I decided that I couldn't afford an SUV's upkeep.

I've just about got it figured out that I need a big body car. And I'm about ready to step into the world of the 300.

Welcome Steve. You picked a great site to learn pretty much everything you'll need to know about making a decision on which trim level suits your needs best depending on your financial state.

These are pretty reliable cars, and only a few relatively minor problems have been identified since their debut. Most, if not all have been addressed by TSB's too.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions either from performance to mods of all sorts. There's always someone who'll be along to answer them, regardless if it's been asked before. You'll find us to be very friendly here too.

Welcome to 3CF from our LXs in the Ohio River hills of West Virginia. I suppose you already know that just about anyone will be a "Volunteer" when you ask for help around here!

Welcome to the forums! Thinking about a 300 is a great idea; owning one is even better. I can definitely identify with your college expenses but it's possible you can pick up a great deal on a used or previously leased 300. There is a lot of interior room in this vehicle. Many of our taller forum members rave about all the leg and head room. If you get a chance, test drive one from your local dealership.

Good luck with your higher education!

Glad to have you here! I personally believe you are on the right track with your potential selection of a 300 for your vehicle. Of course, that may be a prejudiced statement.

This site is brimming with information and informed individuals who will not hesitate to answer your questions so feel free to ask away.

Let us know how things are going.

Beware!!! As soon as you announce you have purchased a 300, the "Pic Whores" will bounce you, asking for pics to be posted with extreme alacrity.
