New Member 06 300C SRT8 & Thanks to all

First let me thank everyone for this forum and all the posts and solution that are available here. It has been a world of help and knowledge. Just had the Transmission and Brake Rotor TSB performed and WOW the difference is amazing, both acceleration and deceleration have been greatly improved.

I purchased my first 2006 300C in July 2006 and fell in love with it immediately. Never a problem and the ride was simply unbelievable.

I traded it in on a 06 SRT8 on 24 March 2007, my love affair continues. My current SRT8 is fully loaded (was the sales manager’s demo ride, I bought it out from under him) I have looked for an option that it does not have and can’t find anything it is missing. “The Beast” is the darker Grey (I think they call it Steel Gray) and has the Black interior, everything is factory, haven’t changed a thing. I plan to drive it for another year or so and then put it in storage as a future classic. I am currently only putting about 250 miles a month on it and plan to keep it that way.

The only thing I have done to the car is to add 35 shade metallic window tinting all the way around, except for the Rear Window I had to use Non-Metallic due to AM radio interference. (Pictures to follow)

Yours respectfully,
Da1Chief

Thanks for the welcome,

GoofyTimL, the answer to your question is yes, I will be looking at the new Challenger SRT8 as soon as they hit the floor and plan to get one in 2009 (I never purchase the 1st year model of a car).

Cueball, I was Army before I became Navy, never know who to pull for in the football game , 1972 my draft number was 12, stayed for 7 years and got out. Stayed out for 3 years and went back Navy for 20 more. Retired in 2002. Thanks for the welcome and will make sure to post pictures within the next couple of days.
