Hello from Scotland

Hi everyone, been looking at the site for a while now, took the plunge and joined up last weekend.

Saving up to get my first 300c saloon, 300c's are fairly new here in the UK so still a bit out of my league - my day will come though Best buy over here at the moment seems to be the 300crd as petrol prices in the UK are horrendous.

Even in standard form the 300c blows me away, some of the pictures in the gallery are amazing, and I know it is the car for me , also big fan of American muscle cars, and tv shows like Boyd Coddingtons American Hotrod and Overhaulin' with Chip Foose.

I live in St Andrews, famous for the game of golf as I'm sure most of you are aware, married, two kids aged 8 and 5, work in engineering, like cars, music and football(soccer to you guys ) Currently drive a black modified Saab 9-3 Turbo, black wheels, koni suspension, stainless exhaust, ecu upgrade, dump valve and big sounds - you get the picture.............one day though it will be a 300c parked on my drive

cheers

G'day Tangerine!

Good to have a few more right hand drivers on board!

There's at least one other Scottish member on the forum already (DerekMc I think) who you might chat to about C ownership in the UK and a few other owners south of you in some place called 'England" I think: might be the same as Pommie land, not sure.

I believe you Jocks get the export spec C from Austria as we do down under so there may be some peculiarities you can pick up from the Australian forum that North American members may not be familiar with. After all, they do drive on the wrong side of the road in the states! LOL!

Welcome to the world of 300's!
