Nice family car

Hi
2006 300C, silver steel, chrome pillars, sick illegal half-mirrored tint (one warning from sheriff so far), new 20" wheels. Pictures soon...
Just a nice family car for dad.... he he he he hee hee hee haaa haaaa hooeeeaahhh. (crazy laugh as I pass those 60mph fast-lane squatters on the right before they can try to speed-up and cut me off) "GET OUT OF THE FAST LANE!" That's how they drive up here in Seattle.... Usually faster driving in the slow lane and people do not move over.... ever.... unless their car has a license plate from another state. Especially those damn Subaru Outbacks! New Bel radar detector that I want to hardwire to get rid of the cord.... either up high or sitting on the dash. Also just bought the cheap color wireless back-up camera at Costco... I want to try and mount the little screen up in the sunglass holder thing & find some 12V wires up there too.... I would like to actually see while backing up.

Now I'm getting tired of being called a pimp.... Isn't there an alternate term I can suggest to my friends?

Hope this gets posted in the new member intro section....

Welcome RC. I you looking to hard wire your radar detector, you can get power from your rear view mirror. Here's a place you can pick one up. They have pics on which wires to tap as well. Invisicord - Ordering

Welcome to the forum!!

If you don't like pimp, try gangster.

Or just get a purple suit and a big hat so you can complete the stereotype.

Cool Thanks

I put pictures in my "gallery" but it only allows 3 pictures. How can I get more in there?
Anyways, thanks for the welcome mat.

I see bruno is from Clovis... my brother lives there & works for CalTrans.

cueball is from ft hood where I spent a year or so @ 1st "Tiger" Brigade, 2nd Armored Division.... almost moved to Austin instead of Seattle (never seen so many beutiful blondes in one place as Austin!!! (and I was coming from California) 6th Street... what a blast I had there....

small world

I bought the car as a year old trade in from a dealer... the previous owner put the tint on the windows.... I haven't seen any other pictures of 300's with window tint like this... but I think it is so cool. We'll see how long it takes for me to get a fix-it ticket to remove it... for now... when I get close to a cop, I roll all the windows down. This won't work too well when it starts raining again.

I tried to attach the picture of the window tint, but it wouldn't let me... Do I have to make 4 posts before I can do that?

smile

Oh... the system was rejecting my reply because I put a Smilie in there.... I guess I have to post more than 4 times before I can use a Smilie... that was tricky to figure out what the problem was with my reply... because it was saying I couldn't post a link to another URL... which I wasn't trying to do... and it was rejecting my reply.. finally figured it out
