G'day from Melbourne, Australia

Just a short note to say G'day or hello to all members. I have owned my 300C SRT8 for about 4 months now and enjoying it very much. Theres not many SRT8 Touring (wagon) around, so it pulls many admiring looks from all ages! Its my everyday ride and looking forward to a few long trips interstate in the future. I also have a highly modified 1934 Ford Pickup with a stock '54 hemi and trans, hence the name Hemirod. I live in Melbourne and have been to the States many times, but not to any 300C functions, maybe soon.

Thanks Jected. Are there any sites or information on local 300C runs or gatherings? Is there a club in Melbourne? I live in the west. See you on the road!

Melbourne Meet & Greet # 9

Coming into the warmer months now, there are a lot more meets and cruises coming up (here and other forums). I am always up for them and when they come up I will let you know.

There is also a Chrysler gathering on the first Tuesday of every month started this month) so keep an eye out for that one too.

Welcome to the forum from Scotland. I know how keen you Aussies are on your cars - I used to correspond with Peter Richardson who founded the Australian version of the Wolseley Register. Sadly Peter died a couple of years back and he sure is missed. Anyway I am sure you will love your 300C even if it isn't a CRD

Congratulations on your new vehicle! Looks like you have already found the way to your first Meet and Greet! From what I have seen posted here in the forums, our Aussies have some great get-togethers and take loads of pictures of their beautiful cars.

Welcome!
bruno

Hey Hemirod. You going to Johns Rod & Custom Picnic this sunday?
If the weather is OK will be in the wifes blue 72 coupe pictured left now.
What colour have you got on the pickup?
Cheers
