Hello from Colorado

Hey I am new here from Co. Just got a 300c AWD Hemi looking forward to spending time with her.

I have one question but not sure if this is the place to post it. Is the extended warranty worth it??

Welcome aboard!! Glad to add you to the 300 crew!

You have the Lifetime Powertrain warranty; Either way, it always amounts to your risk tolerance. I figured 1100 bucks was a good buy just for a bit more piece of mind (I have 3/36k factory warranty), but I usually refuse extended warranties. What kind of cost/coverage were you looking at, as I see lifetime added care for 1200, max care for 1600. Piece of mind is good, but only if you don't mind gambling your 1600 bucks.

Hey Steve "Cueball" name is Wes, I was looking at the max care not sure which one yet... I have had so many people tell me they are a waste of money, I too have the 3/6 but seems to me that there is allot that could go bad.

I do know one thing I do love the ride. Had a Mustang and there is no comparison. Haven't had a nice ride like this since the mid 80's I am a truck man but still love a nice ride.

thanks
Wes

No problem Wes! Yep, had 3 Stangs, a little older though. 89, 91, 93. All 5.0, 1st 2 GT, last one LX 5.0. I like the big car I have now better though !

Its a waste of money if you never use it... its not a waste of money if you have to replace $3000 in out of warranty items right after your warranty expires. Always a gamble, I say. I had the money to burn, went against my own principle just this once.

WELCOME Wes from our West Virginia LXs in the Mid-Ohio River Valley! AWD is a great option for someone in CO! Lots of good LXers in and around Denver (if that's where you are).

That's a beautiful area also... Grand Junction? Durango? Gunnison? We drove through there from Utah along I-70 only (unfortunately) when we returned from So. Calif. last year. My sister and her family are north of Denver.

Just the sister and her family live there. Lots of vacationing/travel history in CO though over childhood and married years.

My roots are in the mid-west (KS, IA, MN) but my folks are gone now. Wife roots are in So. Calif.

We'll be driving the MSRT8 to Denver next year for my nephews H.S. graduation and then vacationing more in the interior and up towards Yellowstone (I think).
