new member / owner just saying hello

Hi all, I am very new to this so very rusty on navigating the site, in fact clue less at present.

I am about to become a Chrysler 300crd owner, hopefully will get mine in about 2 weeks when all things are sorted, I have bought a 2006 crd in silver, very excited about getting it. I just loved them from the 1st time I saw one on holiday in florida 3 years ago.

What is the best grille around like the startech, and best place to get it, aand do they ship to uk if you are reading this in us, one that is a little cheaper than Startech your advice really appreciated.

Is there a club, meet of chrysler 300 s in uk ?

Great website

regards
phil

Hi Phil and welcome!!! You can't be that rusty. You managed to introduce yourself in the propper forum.

As for your grille and clubs questions, start a thread in the European & Diesel area. You're apt to get better answers from those in the know of what's happening on the European scene.

Hi phil500000 and welcome to the forum. Don't know about you but I am based in Scotland, in Hamilton. You are very welcome to join the rest of the crowd at the European and Diesel pages which you will find further down the main forum homepage. Or just click European & Diesel Powered 300C Discussion to go there directly. You will find the crowd there extremely friendly and knowledgeable (unlike me). The UK version of EBay have a number of different grilles up for sale but how good they are in relation to the Startech one is debatable. I gather the grille is also quite difficult to fit although there is a page of instructions on carrying out the task at How-To: Grill installation and fascia removal It is up to you then whether to simply pay for a known product like the Startech or go for a cheaper look-alike and whether or not it would be better to let the dealer fit it for you.
Hope that has answered most of your questions - hope to see you on the other side at our own pages where more folk can give you advice as we all have the same problems (or lack of them)
Cheers John

Welcome to the forums, phil! Rambt and John have certainly provided some very helpful information. You would be much better off to try and get any supplies for mods in your own country. The overseas shipping is high and can put a damper on any money saved by purchasing from a North American vendor.

Wishing you the best on your upcoming purchase!
