Thumbs up hi im new here..(Moved)

Hey wassup i'm new here. I just bought a 2005 300c with after market grille and 22 chrome dub wheels, along with exhaust and a couple other extras.
Basically the reason i bought this car is becuase of this forum, i creeped it for a while and it had lotsa information and lots of pictures of great looking 300's you guys have.

anyways couple of questions, i'm ordering in the manual so i dont have it yet

The driving lights seem REALLY bright and im using them right? i use the first from left when driving and parking i switch it to the second. maybe its just the xenon lights im not used to?

Did the factory have the option to supercharge the car? or was it after market??

thanks for the help

Welcome to the forums, pbufh! Sounds like you purchased a very nice used 300c! Congratulations.

As for the lights, I have a feeling you just are not use to the brighter headlights. It's possible you even have the HIDs. I still get flashed by oncoming drivers who think I have my brights on (I have never altered my OEM HIDs).

The cars do not come factory supercharged nor is there an option for that with any of the LX models. If you have the opportunity, use the search feature for supercharge and see all the negatives and some horrid experiences that pop up. Many folks here are now using many other alternative tuning and nitrous to gain power rather than to supercharge.

Glad to see you left the ranks of lurker!

Welcome from our West Virginia LXs in the Mid-Ohio River Valley! If your car is supercharged, it's definitely after market!

Welcome 2 the forum!!!!

The lights might be aftermarket HID's. Do you have headlight washer nozzles (look for them on the chrome trim right below the headlights)

congrats on the new ride....if you have the washer nozzles below your headlights, you have HIDs. If no washer nozzles pop the hood and check to see if the previous owner added aftermarket HIDs. The factory halgoen headlights aren't bright white and they appear yellow unless someone upgraded them to Silverstar Ultras.
