New Guy From MD

Hello Everyone

I am getting ready to purchase a 2008 300C AWD Dark Titanium with all options except rear seat entertainment. I am currently in IRAQ. So I am purchasing it through military car sales. So I don't get to see her until October 08. I just sold my 99 Cadillac Seville she did me well but started leaking oil and I came over here to IRAQ. So it was time to let her go (189k miles). I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from you guys so I can add the appropriate mods. I was looking at letting the dealer add on the Mopar Headers and Exhaust. But based on some of the threads looks like the headers may cause a problem with the warranty. So I am thinking twice about it. Also considering the Eibach springs. Well catch you guys later.

Welcome rahine!!! Oct 08 is a long time to wait and the anticipation will only worsen I would imagine. Hopefully it'll take your mind off other things.

Be safe and post whenever you get the chance!!! If you have any questions, just ask away. Someone is always here to help.

Bernie

Welcome from Ashburn, Va.
Headers will not cause any problems with your warrenty. I had Mopar headers and never had any issues.

Hi Mate,
Welcome to the forum. Like your fellow countrymen I wish you well as we are on the same side of the fence - so stay safe over there. But I couldn't help but laugh at "I just sold my 99 Cadillac Seville she did me well but started leaking oil and I came over here to IRAQ." If you were looking for more oil you probably went to the right place.
Seriously though - keep your head down and your ambition of your new car in October will come.
Cheers John

Welcome to the forums! You are very patient indeed to wait just under a year to see your 2008 300c! You should not have any problems with your dealer adding the Mopar system to your vehicle. It's made by Corsa Exhaust for Mopar, the number one system recommended by forum members for owners of 300c who don't want a constant drone when the car enters the MDS fuel saving mode

Just curious...are you military civilian or soldier? Regardless, be safe and get home soon!

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. I thought the Mopar exhaust was made by Borla. I was on a site that was selling Mopa parts and stated the exhaust was made by Borla. I would like the Corsa as thats what I wanted for my Seville but never got around to it. They sound pretty good. As far as the headers go if you guys dont't think that will be a problem I will look into it with the dealer. (Bruno) I am a civilian.

Welcome to the forum!!

Bought 3 cars from AAFES over the years, including the current one, but not a big fan. Any reason to order one from them instead of your hometown dealer? You paying cash or financing? ( The PX tax free stuff ends if your state socks you for 'fees' when you title the vehicle..most do. TX was 2500 for me, but I knew that) You'll get socked for the extra fee... if you finance with your hometown dealer, they can probably roll that up in your deal.

Good luck over there, I know it sucks.. where u at?

Thank You For the warm welcome

CUEBALL Basically its just easier for me to order through AAFES. The dealer prices have only had a difference of $2-300.
