Hello from Toronto

Hi,
I just bought a 2005 vanilla 300C. The first day I had it out was a few days ago, and it just happened to be one of the worst snow storms in the city this season! It handled great, very impressive!

The forums are a great source of info, I've learned alot already.

Welcome aki! I'm down in London and yep it's snowing today here too, but I'm going to a bike show of all things. Any warranty left on your car?

Bernie

First thing I bought was firestone winterforce with the black OPP steel 18's. Tire rack is amazing, they were at my door in 2 days.

Not sure if there is warranty left on my car...I wasn't provided with any paperwork. I know the original owner took possession on January 6th, 2005...so it's over 3 years.

p.s. London is in another world in terms of snow. I travel to the old hockey arena on Wellington for the track cycling regularly and I've had some interesting times coming back at night in my last car ('05 mustang GT).

Welcome to the forums aki. Im also from the toronto area. You should still have powertrain warranty left (5years/100000 km) make sure though thats its been transfered to your name. Im gonna want to ask you about those winter tires after winters done as to how you liked them. I have the continental winter tires on the car and they are getting to the point where ill have to probably replace them before next winter.

It's probably unlikely he took out an extended waranty then otherwise they would have told you that as a selling feature. All in all these cars have proved to be very reliable, but there are a few issues, not the least of which is the well known transmission O-Ring leak. There are some electrical gremlins and such, but most have long since been identified and TSB's are out for them.

If you do have any problems or concerns, all you have to do is ask cuz there's plenty of information here on pretty much everything.

Bernie

well i believe the 5 year /100000 km powertrain warranty was standard. along with the 3 year 60000 km bumper to bumper. i dont remember the corrosion warranty period off hand except im pretty sure that is unlimited km's just a time factor.

Welcome to the forums, aki! Congratulations on your new ownership. I hope you will see some warm sun very soon to melt all that snow. You need to truly test drive that HEMI!
