New from Minn.

Howdy all. Been lurking here since Mar. Bought a 2006 SRT in Apr.
and really enjoy the car. Have owned quite a few cars and would have
to say this is my favorite. Let the modding begin, after it hibernates
this winter.

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your purchase. Don't forget there are mods you can do to your car while it sits in hibernation!

First of all. When I bought it, it had 18k miles and the previous owner ( a 72 ye old guy) had a mesh grille, window tint,
magnaflow catback, and a cold air intake that I'm not sure who it's from. Maybe one of you know. It is a chrome tube
from the throttle body that goes through the hole behind the drivers headlight, and the filter is underneath. I have
looked at all the cai's advertised here and have never seen anything like it. I would post a picture but thats another
thing I have to learn yet. lol

I forgot to add, I've installed a predator with 91 cai tune and a billet catch can, also I ordered the black hurst shifter.
I'm thinking of a high stall converter and high flow cats next spring. Not sure if I want to go into engine internals
just yet. I'd have to break the bank for that.

Everything is going great. We just sit on the deck drinking grain belt and complaining about the weather. Tou remember
I'm sure, we can go through four seasons in an afternoon. At least it was dry this year and i only experienced one skeeter
bite the whole summer hehe. I live in Blaine, and usually go up hwy 35 so I don't see cloudy town much.

Welcome ahemi2. I live in the south part of the metro. Unfortunately, I have to drive mine all year. I change over to 18 wheels and snow tires, and it rides real good! But when you get that thing out next year lets meet up....what color did you get? You have been reading since March, so you know you will find everything you need to know here and even get entertained sometimes. Glad you finally went public! Great bunch of people.

Hey DGatzby1. I don't know how you can drive in the winter. I have to turn my wheels to go in and out of my driveway
otherwise i scrape. It seems if there are 2 inches of snow the car would be a snowplow! Also my brother delivers for
Car Quest to hi tech and knows Bert and Casey so that should help on my cmr tune next year, and yeah we should have
a m&g next year with all the metro lx's.
