Hey what's up everyone I'm Mike & I own a 06 SRT8 300c absolutely love this car traded my gto for it, there is one issue with it though :/ has a whine noise & I have no idea what's making it so any input on that would be great, Thanks, glad to be here & can't wait to learn more
Oh, it's that kind of whine. Well, idler pulleys seem to be the biggest culprit. Check that first. Hopefully it isn't a PS pump, alternator or A/C compressor bearing.
Yeah i might just start goin threw & changing bits, doesnt look to hard to work on, alot easier than my gto i had lol, i did a lil looking on here do ppl still use the TDT oil from mobil? Thats all i can get around here :/
You can spray WD40, will help a little but the noise will eventually come back as it dries up. With the engine on, carefully taking care spray individually at each pivot. You may be able to determine the source if the noise goes away immediately. Good luck
