2006 Radio Upgrade

I have a 2006 300 and wish to upgrade the radio to one that receives HD broadcasts. Does a double-din aftermarket fit, and if so, what is needed to make a clean installation.

A second question: I have been able to do no research, so is the head unit separate from the amplifier, and if so what are the specs on the amplifier. I don't have the razzle dazzle Bose or Boston Accoustics or whatever, mine is just the garden variety AM-FM single disc radio with about six speakers and no sub woofer that came standard on the car.

In point of fact, I am considering one of the JVC Double Din Blue Tooth HD everything-but-the-kitchen-sink radios which has a built-in amplifier as well.
