Smile Hello! Newbie with throttle problems (ETC light)
Hello everyone!!

has anyone out there had there ETC light come on? The last few months I havent been getting the same response when i press the gas. last week the check engine light came on. yesterday the ETC light came on, blinking. turned the car off and the ETC light went off. Since its saturday i have to wait till monday to take ithe ride into the dealer. any thoughts out there as to what the dealer might tell me? my 300c is a 2005. i have 130k miles on it too.

initial guess - crankshaft sensor, or EGR position sensor

you need to find the error code. Try the 'key dance' to see a code on your green screen.click - How to Display Diagnostic Trouble Codes - LX Forums Modern Mopar Muscle (dont turn the engine on!)

Hey, thanks kaiser bill it worked!!! I got 2 codes (P0406, P2173). I tried going to the site where the codes are interpreted but it looked like that site has been taken down. I will continue to look.

hello everyone i have the same problem but the esp/bas light come on at the same time and have no throttle response any help please let me know . I have replaced intake , pcm, gas pedal , battery and no luck at all. Thank you

Hi danielballes,
I have had the exacr same problem with my 2005 300 limited. It has been at the dealer since Nov 2012. They cant find the problem, replaced the throttle body, the PCM and some wires. In my previous searches it looks like it has happened alot. Any luck yet????? Have you pulled your codes, my code is P2110. Does your car just stall?

did you change the EGR valve? it worked for me. but i have the hemi. not sure if it makes a difference.
