Long island GTG (Take 2)

Trying to get this to happen this Sunday at the Oak Beach lot in Long Island
You have to be there by 7:00am or it gets filled up. I and at least 2 other C owners are going. Would liek to egt more. It's a hot rod and custom car get together that takes place every Sunday weather permitting. Should be cool. There won't be many of these Sundays left. Weather is supposed to be sunny and in upper 70's

Here are directions coming over the Throgs Nexk Bridge from the Bronx


At the end of the bridge, take the Cross Island Pkwy south. take it all the way to the Southern State Pkwy heading east.Take the exit for the Meadowbrook pkwy south and go all the way down to Ocean pkwy east.Take Ocean pkwy past Jones Beach (you will come to a circle with a tower in the middle go 1/2 way around it and continue as if you were going straight) continue to the Oak Beach parking lot (about 7 miles or so) . You will see all sorts of perfomance cars pulling in. It usually starts at about 7:30. The earlier you get there the better because it fills up quick. It's really a nice ride on a sunny sunday morning. Just watch your speed as you will be tempted to open her up on the two lane road and it's a good place to get nailed.
