SRT-8 Track Experience At Lime Rock

Anyone going April 3rd, 4th or 5th? My birthday is on the 2nd so I didn't think the next day would be good for me so I signed up for Tuesday (4/4).

Sounds good to me. I can make that date, as well.

One small problem - since I don't actually own an SRT-8 (yet), a vin number from an SRT-8 member who has no interest in the track experience events would be most appreciated.

Hey! Just received my credit card statement and I was charged $300 for the SRT Track Experience, even though I provided a VIN# when I registered on-line. Do they refund the $300 after the event or did I misunderstand what the terms were? I thought we were able to attend for free if we bought an SRT8.

With an 06 SRT-8, you should have a freebie. Go to www.srttrackexperience.com and get the "800" number from the "contacts" section. Give them a call, they're very helpful and I'm sure they'll make it right. They don't bill your credit card if your track experience is part of the purchase price. Wonder if someone smurfed your VIN at the dealership and used it to get a free ride?

Did the track experience at Beaver Run in the fall and am dying to go to LRP in April, but some family obligations may get in the way. You'll have a blast!

Yep, a few Charger guys got charged like you, called, and were told the database of valid VINS sometimes lags. A few days later, refunds were given.

My refund was done a few weeks later. I didn't have to call for that. They actually called me.

Does this actually work!?!?!?!! Am I correct in uderstanding that if I use a VIN from someone who has an SRT (and they aren't gonna do the track thing) - then the event is FREE!?!? Meaning I don't "have" to pay $300??

Tell me this is true. I would SO love to do this, but saving $300 would put me over the top!!!

JFF, I'm afraid I'm guilty of stirring things up on this one. While that might have worked last year, apparantly it won't this year.

I'm gonna try to make the Lime Rock event in April. I'll have to pay $300.00 to get in.
