With more SRT vehicles out now in all these states I know we can do it with New England and SRT-4Mation it will happen.

It will still be held at the same park Hecksher State Park so there will be no confusion . Freakin rican Hozay and I will be in the talks of how we can make this Meet better than the rest.

I need to get a list of who will be coming out here yes i know its about 4 1/2 months away but a meet like this needs alot of preperation . So if you are interesting in coming thru please post up .

OK, guys, this is tomorrow!

anyone from mass or above states, the group is going to meet at Charlton rest stop on I-90 (Mass Pike West) Between 6:45 and 7am.

MA,NH,ME,VT Convoy

Meetup: 7am
Location: Charelton Rest Area
Directions: See below
Contact: I think most of you guys have my cell number, if you wan't it, PM me, I don't like posting my cell number of teh internets
Radios: Channel 4

If everyone gets there between 6:45 am and 7:00am, that would be great. This gives us a buffer of a half hour to wait for anyone, which is why being on the list is important, so we know if anyone is missing. I would love to be out of Charelton at 7:15am, but we have until 7:30am at the latest to leave without holding the CT crews up. The earlier the better

If anyone has any of the little "Talkabouts" or FRS radios, bring them, and use them, if everyone stays on Channel 4, we wont have to switch when we get to CT.

Directions to Charelton:

Boston-ish Area:
Get on the Mass Pike (90) going west bound. Go past the 495 exits, and past the Rest area. Continue on I90W past 290/395 exits, Charleton is about 10 minutes past the 290/395.

NoMA/NH:
Take 495south to exit 22 I90West. Take I90W past the 290/395 exits, Charelton will be on your right about 10 minutes past the 290/395 exit.

Lemonstah/Fitchburg Areas:
190south to 290 west, get on Mass Pike I90West, Chrelton will be on your right in about 10 minutes.

And from there, I can get us to the CT crews.

Everyone remember to be safe, the cops are going to be out in force this holiday weekend. I'd rather have you guys come late, then come with a ticket

CONNECTICUT

FIRST STOP: I-95 Milford McDonalds Service Area just past "Exit 41" in the Truck Parking Area. Gas, food and relief at this stop only. Also, a brief drivers meeting.

SECOND STOP: I-95 Fairfield McDonalds Service Area just past Exit "22".
We will just pass through the service area to pickup "LoardHelmet 1" and continue on. No stopping.

THIRD STOP: I-95 Darien McDonalds Service Area just past Exit "10"

Again, just pass through the service area to pickup "SRT4_Rocks" and "ACanCelledCzech"

COMMUNICATIONS: We will be on channel "4". My cell # 203-530-3477

NOTE: Make sure you have enough gas to make it there from the first stop to the park. Approximately 100 miles or 2 hours in time.

Directions: I got these abbreviated directions from Psi Chick (Amy)

Take I-95 to 695/295 as your directions state Towards Throgs Neck Bridge, get on the cross island, but just stay on that to the southern state and go to the end. There is a toll along the way.

the entrance to the park is literally at the end of the southern state, it turns right into it. You should try to stay off the LIE at all costs, that highway is the worst thing ever created. if you need anything else just let me know!

Thanks for the invite. Sounds like a lot of fun. I live to far away.

I think my big ole' fat SRT8 would feel out of place among the smaller, younger SRT4 group. I would feel the same way about showing up to a SRT10 viper meet and greet. Eventhough we are all from the same thread. It is events like the SRT Nationals that can bring all of the SRT models together. But it seems even the Nationals is taken over by the SRT4's.

How many SRT4's were made? There seems to be alot of 4's out there. Is it because they are affordable? A little help please.

well this whole thing happened when the SRT-4 was made so, ekool started the SRTforums (he also runs all other SRT vehicle forums) in which at the time there was only the SRT-4 Neon, followed by the Ram and the Viper SRT vehicles.

The Memorial Day meet began in 2004 with SRT-4's cause thats all that showed up and since then has gotten bigger and bigger. Since SRTforums is for SRT vehicles we encourage the SRT vehicle lines to show.
They've been invited but not much show, we had a black SRT-10 Ram show last year which was the center of attention. Last year we had 101 SRT vehicles show. Mostly SRT-4's and their owners ages range from 18-70's, ptc01 is in his 60's and drag races his(show stopper SRT-4).

The SRTnationals was started by owners from SRTforums.com (I am Administrator there) in the time when there was no other SRT vehicles but SRT-4's. This year it is ran by another group of guys some who run the One Lap of America, but still SRT-4 owners. It is for all SRT vehicles!

It's about the SRT brand and not vehicle brand or type!

There were just over 25k SRT-4's made in the 3 yr production run with the ACR's being the most rare at just under 1100 made.

So, there is no need to feel out of place when it's all about the SRT brand of vehicles!

The Neon is inexpensive and could be made quite fast, ours with fuel and turbo pushed 431whp/441wtq on stock motor and drivetrain. now being built for over 650whp. our site is www.srtgurl.com

Thanks for the breakdown. That is what I love about the Forums. Learn something new everyday hanging out here.

I know what you mean about not having many SRT's showing up. I live in a city of 4.5 million people and I can't get even a few SRT8's of different LX models to get anything going that even looks like a club, Meet and Greet, etc. Let alone the C,RT,Base, etc. models of the LX either to come out.

It's sad really. With our 94-96 Impala SS Houston club. We had 100+ members and on avg. 60 Impala SS's would show up for every monthly M&G. We would even meet up for lunch, during the work week, and would have 15 SS in the parking lot. People would not know WTF was going on. It was a Tuesday and there are 15 of the same cars in the parking lot. So much fun.

Buy an SRT-4 for a daily driver then you'll have the Houston club to join haha. those guys get together all the time. But even if you don't have an SRT-4. Join up with them, some are cool and some are , well, kids. LOL.

But one of our Admins is from Texas, Spring to be exact!, Castrol. He will tell you the ins and outs of the SRT community since he's been at it for some time now. Castrol is not a kid either, he is the same age as you. hahaha
