Boston ? New England Area

Good day folks;I don't want anyone to feel that we've lost our interest in meets & get togethers just because it's winter.Personally I had some health issues ( 2 + weeks in hospital ) - but they've been resolved.

We should be giving very serious thought to where & when we want to GTG for the Early spring. You all know how our New england weather is - for those outside of the area, we simply state: " If you don't like our weather wait a minute:.This is the reason why we seem "mute" at this point of time. But rest assured that we are like the proverbiable sleeping giant ( maybe hibernating-oh well ).Lets all stay in touch. It would be a good idea if the site administrators would open up the regional forums, in the very densly populated areas ,to well defined"sub-sections" .
If we were to go back to some of the past regional threads we woult note that there is a lot of confusion as to where the North east area defines itself.

In our case would it be plausable to isolate the following:
1) Tri-State Area
2) Mid-Atlantic Area
3) New england Area
4) Canada Area
5) etc etc etc etc

We would all fall under the North East region-but with distinct Areas.

This may be a good idea for some of the other areas as well. -- it's only my opinion, but it certainlty would give more of the folks a sense of belonging with their own Brethern.Perhaps , as one of our local members ( Luscious) put it one of her first posts; "is there a local 300 Car club around"

Confusion waas indeed running rampant with respect to the indicative areas.I had received many PM's as to what our region involves, and most of these seemed to be intimidated by the vastness of responese from mid-atlantic / tri state & canada ( to say the least).I know that we all collectively support all the local areas, but I myself get a little overwelmed myself @ the replies from -- well all over.
If sub-areas within the regions were to be made readily accessable, I'm sure that a great deal more folks would be stepping up to the plate ( so to speak) and getting more involved due principly to the sense of " owenership" to their area.I don't mean to step on the toes of the powers to be, but it only makes sense in my minds eye.But then again -- it"s only my $.02.
