Proposed Monthly GTG for New England

Due to the turn out we had last week with only 2 days planning,I feel that it's time to organize a monthly GTG.I will throw out a proposal that we schedule for the fisrt Sunday of the Month @ Kelly's Roast Beef on route 1 (southbound) in Saugus,Ma.;Plenty of area to park and also showcase our cars where it's a high traffic area.Fuddruckers, down the road, has a weekly classic cruise night every Thursday @ 7PM,so the area is used to meet & greets.I have received several PM's from folks who want to be informed as to when the next one is, so we might as well start up a Monthly GTG & go from there.

All those interested should post their views & opinions so we can get it off the ground. Also,if the interest is high enough, we might be able to organize another Monthly ( perhaps 3 rd Sunday) in a different local location so as to open up our area.

Don't just wait for an opportunity to get together to come about, lets all of us work together to make it happen !!!!!!!!!!

I'm all for a monthly meet; probably wouldn't be able to attend them all but would try...I suggest that the site change on a month-by-month basis however; sometimes on Rt. 1, sometimes perhaps out in the Waltham area, sometimes north, sometimes south, etc...

and there is NOTHING like a car parade down the main drag in Skanksville aka Hampton Beach on a warm Saturday night...it's bumper-to-bumper; to quote the Fresh Prince "two miles an hour, so everybody sees you..."

I had proposed just that late last summer. It's only fair that we "bounce the locations around so as to accomadate the masses.

Now would be the time for others to bring up locations as well.I've been down to the South Shore,Southboro, & Tewksbury so I'm not adverse to drive .

I'm from the south shore (Weymouth) and that sounds great for the GTG's. Keep me posted.

I'd definately be interested as well. Once the car is done anyways. You guys are always welcome to setup a get together at my shop in Worcester if it seems like a good central spot for the masses.

Race, you have a website? Anyone interested in the 3CF (300 C Forums)tag for the back of your ride. I just ordered a dozen of them so far and should have them by the end of this next week. They are sharp looking plus it will let people know that you are part of the 3CF club.
