Seekonk Motor Speedway

Who's silver AWD C did I see in the spectator drags at Seekonk on July 4th? I also saw a black one with an E&G grille parked outside as I was leaving.

That was me! Just posted this in the General section -

My local circle track has Spectator Drags during their special events a few times each year. Two cars run at a time. The winner goes on to race again and the loser heads to the parking lot. I haven't raced there in awhile so I decided to put the 300C in. I figured that the car goes pretty good and doesn't handle to bad either. The ESP would probably be helpful too. That was true to a point. Turns 3 and 4 are kind of rough so coming into those hard caused the computer to think "oh sh*t, we're going to die". That GREATLY reduced power (especially my last race when I was really pushing hard). The pedal was to the floor by I felt like the engine was turned off. Looking back now I should have turned the ESP off at that point. Ended up going 3 races before getting beat.

I won the whole thing back in 7/92. My turbocharged GTO might make an appearence there next time.
