Doing ok here in Rochester Ny. We are use to this kinda beatdown! Lucky that the storm didn't hit us head on like we thought. Don't worry all car is safe!!!
We lucked out in my neighborhood: southeastern PA about 30 miles north of storm track. Didn't even loose electric for more than a fraction of a second. A quick inspection around the property shows only a few tree limbs down.

Well London was supposed to get some of this, but we didn't get much at all in the way of heavy rain. Quite windy overnight and the only thing I noticed was the top lattice of one section of my fence was blown off. Compared to watching what was happening on CNN all night I'd say I have nothing to complain about.

Just got power, Cell phone, Land line, Cable & Internet restored last night. Everything went down when the storm hit. It hit hard. Gonna need a new roof on my house - no leaks - just peeled up a bunch of shingles. Was gonna do a new roof in the spring, guess I gotta do it now. WORST STORM EVER. I heard the noise of "the train" before the winds hit , never wanna go thru that again, I really don't know how people deal with tornadoes in the midwest , this storm was unprecedented here in New Jersey. Our families are ok ( wife's side and mine) and thats what is important although some of our cousins down the shore lost their homes. I am nowhere near the shore, and the damage here is unbelieveable. No power means that gas stations can not pump gas, so the few that are open have long lines for vehicles and walk-up for gas can service.
We still have no power. Luckily we have a generator so we have some heat and were able to keep the freezer and fridge from defrosting. Working has been a real challenge (I work from home) in fact I am waiting on a line for gas as we speak! (rt 33 in Twin Rivers) we were lucky though as I know people who will have to rebuild or move out as they have nothing left at all
