Don't you just hate it when you get all excited to install a new mod and then some how something else goes wrong during the process of installation or once the work has been done? Well I know I sure do! Happened to me today while installing a Mopar iPod integration kit into my SRT8. Install took me about 40 minutes or so total and then the stupid ash tray popped open and would just not close anymore which has happened to me before but I was able to get it to stay shut a day later. Well turns out the spring that holds the ash tray shut came loose some how when I was putting everything back and had to take everything out again just to reach the damn spring.
Then once I fixed that, I some how broke off the side clips on the inside edges of the center console which is such a noob mistake on my part since it wasn't the first time I have taken apart the center console. Then to make things even worse, I realized that part of my climate control knobs did not light up completely along with the buttons for the heated seats! So had to mess with it again to get them to light back up and I'm not even going to go into detail how long I tried fixing it.
So at the end of the day I finally am able to play music off my ipod but I'm left with a climate control that no longer lights up properly along with the heated seat buttons!
Sorry for my ranting but just gets to me when everything is going perfect during an install for a new mod and then some how something else gets messed up during or after the process.
