Exclamation NEW Dodge Magnum Sedan Unveiled!

In a dramatic turnabout today, DCX announced the introduction of the new Dodge Magnum coupe (with a King Cab 3rd-door option) - this, in lieu of the previously confirmed Dodge Charger. "Everybody seemed to think we missed the boat with the earlier sedan," recanted Chrysler's representative, "so we figured this one might go over better. Heck, they both got HEMIs." And indeed he was correct on both counts, with the new Magnum coupe slated to harbor the 5.7L Hemi as the base motor, and an as-of-yet unconfirmed 426 cubic inch variant in the pipeline. "That's what we really came for," argued the President of the Dodge Charger fan club, "give us what we want or we'll, we'll,..., well, sell us whatever you got." And sell they will folks - Ford's got nothing, and the Chevy Impala won't get any horsepower 'till 06 (maybe).

Redman,

Great photo shop job. I just wish that it was true.

I mentioned a hood scoop way back in the air intake thread for a true cold induction, the car is cool save for the ugly dodge snout.

This is a suicide door, like you would find on an extended cab pick up and some Saturn car models. You can only open the rear door after you have opened the front door exposing the handle on the inside jamb of the rear door.

(Anybody biting on this?????)
