Can you imagine how terrifying that moment must have been? The perfect defensive weapon was already in his/her hands, I can't imagine why he/she didn't try to run this maniac down. And, if I were driving that 300, there is no red light that could have kept me there!

It's hard to watch that and see, not only no one going to help, but no one opening a lane so they could at least escape! I guess we'll never know how the story ends.

As I watched, I was waiting for just that to happen, and it never did. Unfortunately, with our litigious society, the driver probably would have been sued! Sure, you could claim self defense, but you know someone would have still try to sue you.

The really sad part is that this was all premeditated and staged to capture on video. The driver just happened to be the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time.

HEMEEE,

I hope I would have acted to defend myself as you suggest by running the bastard down, but you never know how one will react unless you are in that situation yourself. Hope it never happens to any of us!!!!!!!

I noticed in your signature that you have a Corvette coupe. Hope this doesn't bore you, but I just got back from a 4 day trip to the Bragg-Smith Advanced Driving School in Las Vegas where I got to drive a 2004 Z06 on a closed road course for 3 full days. If you ever have a chance to do this....DO IT!!!!!!! It was the most fun I have ever had and it was for three days straight! They trained you how to handle the car in racing conditions...how to hit the apex...how to use oversteer to get lined up for the next turn....skid pad work and the most fun was pulling the fuse that disables the ABS and stability control. Let's just say I did my share of donuts. We started with a brand new set of Goodyear F1's and after day three they were bald!!! I made over 3,000 gear shifts and on the long straight away got the Z06 up to 130 mph!!!!! Thank GOD for ABS coming out of that straight away into turn 9!!

Here are a couple of pictures. I have a video of one of my runs, but I do not know if I can upload it. Kind of a large file.

Sorry if this bores anyone, I'm still coming down from my adrenaline rush.

Just out of curiousity, what did this have to do with owning/wanting a "C"?
you are quite right mikeD, however, i strongly suspect root of problem was , unlike you, he had no father at his side to provide leadership while growingup.

James,

So true....unfortunately!

It is easier for a father to have children than for children to have a real father. - Pope John XXIII

O.K. Things have gotten way to serious for this site. Time for a little levity. Follow this link. If the person in this car would have had this option on the car the outcome would have been much different. Trunk Monkey Click on the far left picture/link. The video will take a while to load. Hilarious!!!!

Thats the reason I have a pistol and a concealed weapons permit. I would have kindly ended his unproductive days on "how did he put it"? "da coona with a slug straight to the head, and then I would have called the COPS to come scoop him off the street. If I would have been traveling without my pistol on that day he would have met the wing on the front and then the back of my ride a couple times, then I would have called the COPS....Man ignorance and apathy is killing our country.
