Good one. He'll be famous after all this.

I agree with most of what you say bruno, but I don't believe he's done anything wrong as a member to get him banned. I may be wrong, but that's up to the admins. If I were in his shoes, I'd be too embarrased to ever come back though. This place is like a family in a lot of respects, we're all brothers & sisters here, for me at least. Rambit,

I realize it’s up to admin. to ban members but was just stating my opinion. I certainly would not approve or support any ‘family’ member acting in such a detestable manner as posted. I'm still waiting, though, to hear from 300cp.

Oh bruno, don't get me wrong on this. I'd like to hear from him too & if it were possible to ban him over this, if it is what it is, I'd be all for it.

We allow members to make public a dispute such as this after ALL possible attempts have been made to work things out. JFF has exhibited in his thorough documentation that he has hit a brick wall. It is not the role of Admin. to serve as judge and jury in this, or any other private dispute on the forums. Any action considered by Admin. would also be a private matter.

We applaud the mostlly mature, and well-reasoned, responses to an emotionally charged issue.
We don't want to see a "lynch mob" mentality come into play here and appreciate the members keeping it that way.

I am sorry to hear about what happened. This just confirms for me why I will only deal with members I have met. I know that is a shallow perception on things, but I just dont want to deal with unethical sellers. Just because someone is a senior member on a forum does not mean they are a good person.

I do hope he has the backbone to present his case here, but I truly doubt it. If I were you I would call his mom so at least he could be grounded. Since he basically bait and switched you, is he violating any laws? Did the items ship across state lines?

I feel for you. I had a similar problem with a forum member on the Caddy site. Bought a set of rims that were supposedly perfect. Ended up being severely scratched and missing a center cap. I let him off way too easy with a terse letter explaining karma to him. My loss was considerably higher than $45, more like $200. The money is not the issue, it's principle as always. Sad really when anyone of any age acts in this manner. Obviously this young man is missing something in his psyche and can somehow justify this for himself. No one wants to feel like they're the bad guy so it would be interesting to hear how he justifies his actions.

Ban Him Please!

It makes me sick when I hear stries like this. 10 years ago I would have hunted him down for you.
Ban him!
And don't forget to behave like adults!
Hows that.
I still think that, unless he refund's and appolagizes he should be banned!

After reading all these posts, I wasn't sure a response from me was the right thing to do. "However" I can confirm jff's posts. we did communicate severals times about this emblem mod. I did produce this for 300cp, and he sent me several photos of the mod INSTALLED on his 300. i did review the photos jff provided and can confirm, that the emblem had been installed, and appears the damage to the emblem is from being taken off incorrectly. hence the silicone being dirty , and the silicone not being smooth on the back surface. the dirt on the back seems to be imbedded, and looks like heat was used to soften the silicone to remove the emblem. 100% silicone is a very strong adhesive if applied by the directions i supply with my emblem mod.

since 300cp doesn't appear to want to make this right with jff...I have offered to make it right for him. Its my belief I produce something that no one else offers, and i'm more than happy to do that for lovers of the 300 and the members of this forum......................O Stress
