In a rare twist of life imitating art, the Chrysler Group revealed the latest iteration of its incredibly successful 300 series automobiles:
The Hotwheels Deora Edition. Offered either in
irredescent purple or the
gold lamaze shown here, Chrysler's new 3-across seater marks a return to the company's previous "cab-forward" look, only this time with surfboards (optional equipment). Asked,
"why now, why at all?" Ralph Gilles, DCX's Chief Stylist, responded with uncharacteristic gruffness,
"This 300 thing, itz too much, I can't take it. Everybody wants another piece of me. Just lay off!"
Pressure cooker concerns aside, it seems that DCX is ready to create yet another automotive market segment with this, the latest in a long line of uniquely Chrysler designs.
