Thumbs up 300C To Star in Green Hornet Remake!

Believe it or not Chrysler fans, but its true, the long-anticipate remake of the 1936 radio series, the Green Hornet (also a 1966 TV series) is going to star the 300C - front and center. Re-created by the legendary Chuck Barris' son, Earl, the new Black Beauty will possess all of the incredible features of the original car, only with substantial upgrades. A short list of new "mods" includes: run-flat tires; a cloak of invisibility; integrated mind-control/death ray, and Hellfire Anti-car missiles. Supporting cast includes Ben Affleck starring as millionaire, crime-fighter Britt Reid (The Green Hornet), together with Jackie Chan as his faithful side-kick (Kato). More details to follow....

Redman,

Sounds to cool. I remember listening to the old radio program back in the late 40's early 50's.

OK, after a string of hilarious hoaxes, are we supposed to believe this one?
It all looks plausible, except for the fake photochops....

They keep saying it's going to happen. By the time they finally release a new Green Hornet movie, it's just as likely that DCX will have already produced an Imperial or a New Yorker (long wheel base LH platform). At least that's what the guys over at ALLPAR think:

Yeah, I heard/read about this a few months ago. The movie producers actually want Chrylser or whatever car maker to pay a hugh about of money for this product placement in the movie. I can't wait. I always love the Green Hornet.

Movie placement is certainly a better way to spend advertising dollars than the personality-driven, "spec-car" road show known as Nascar - boring! (got circles?) Now put real stock cars in Mr. France's racing series and then you'd have something. I can just see the headlines now, "HEMI-powered Dodges dominate Winston & Nextel Cups yet again."
