Maybe thats the reason he didnt post the pics, so that someone didnt recognize the pics or something.
If it sounds to good to be true, dont chance it.

You might print up your own "Certified Check" which would be as valuable as this transaction. He is very magnanamous in helping with the shipping costs (unheard of). Where is the title? Why not send an email indicating you will pick the car and title up and give him cash for the deal.

Also, 'never recked, dropped or raced' is bull. You can see mods on the car and a racing sticker on the window. No one puts on mods and dosn't race them etc. Use your head and, if you think it might be valid there are ways you can paint this guy into a corner - if it's not valid he'll fold.

Exactly what kings said.
Say your gonna meet and give cash.
Ask him some obvious questions, and see if he can take some more detailed pics.
Why dont u get the vin number and see if the car is registered in the state he says it is.
Lets see, 5 people telling you this sounds fishy, tell him to go stick it

Thanks, i just wanted to get everyones opinion. I knew it was too good to be true. I have seen many scams on supras since my buddy wanted to get one. Good point on the racing sticker on the window. It seemed so suspicious like slawkins31 said, i too have never seen a supra under 6k. What really got me is when he said it will be shipped from California when the car is in Pennsylvania. I have pretty much been looking for a 99-2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee or a 2001-2003 Ford Explorer XLT. If anyone knows where i can get a good deal on the Jeep or the Ford can you let me know, I am looking at somewhere up to $10,000. I surprisingly have found some nice Jeeps and Explorers for 7 or 8

You never know! If this is a real deal you'll kick youself in the arsss forever if you miss this one...

Whatever you do, don't send him that deposit, just in case. Take a couple days off work & go see the car in person. He might have just moved to California form Pennsylvania. Racing sticker or not, its a Supra, besides the engine, interior & exterior look pretty clean to me for a '94. I say its worth a look.

Not a chance. A typical Supra in that condition with those miles goes for $15-20k.
