Windows Local Live

If you like Google Earth, you should try http://local.live.com/ It is absolutely fascinating how clear you can make the zoom capabilities. There is even a "birds eye view" which is interesting. To me it totally resembles Google Earth with nothing to DL. What are your thoughts?

This is insane.
I thought Google Earth was good, but the quality is so much better. And you can zoom in so much closer.
WOW

Can you imagine the number of satellites (due to orbit issues) and bandwidth that would be required?

Your prob right, but they already have the highway cameras that you can see live. Its not really smooth, but its live.

If you live in Seatle or San Fran check out the Walking Live view.
I wish they had this for NY.

Thanks to this windows local live, my boss has our local IT department monitoring my Internet usage to determine if I truly need an assistant now. "If you have time to be surfing the internet, you can assist in cutting down on our overhead blah blah!" Hmm..
