Meister,
just so you know...
I shared this story with Ralph Gilles personally while standing next to his car...
and said he sas sorry that you could not make it out and you sound like a true DCX car enthusiast through and through...
he truly liked the fact that at your young whipper snapper age that you can get so excited...
and when I shared the part about running out of fuel as DanRealtor had walked up and caught the tail end of the story and added that fact...
I finished by saying to him...
so here we are at my house having rib eyes and beers after a regional meet...
and halfway through dinner Meister chimes in...
you know that fuel issue you had Dan?
uh, yeah you guys haven't stopped letting me know about it...
we'll my fuel light was on up by the town we went through...
but I was going to run out of fuel before I slowed down as we were having WAY TO MUCH FUN!!!
so Jim, you were there, and Ralph really LOVED that part of the story...
as he then launched into how he ran out of gas in the Newfoundland run in his orange charger...

Looking forward to meeting you in person and having you attend the even bigger event next year!

Well since this is my tread i should chime in on how much you were missed Jim.
There wasn't t moment the whole weekend that you and your wife were out of any of mine or Amy's thoughts. OK well maybe when Dan took me on the "spirited" ride and all i could think was Please don't hit that wall.

You were the Talk of the meet getting that 177 speed with a C. ZX was showing the Fan mod and people were talking about your tire smoking video.
In fact the only reason I'm on right now is cause I'm looking for you thread on sound deading cause i got my shipment while i was gone.
I say next Year we have Meister Fest for the Member with the most contributions to the LX community.

I went to Spring Fling to meet the one person that can fill in the blanks on all our questions and make me feel that I am on the right track, and that is Jim (Meister). I traveled 3000 miles and no Jim, not even a "Slim Jim". Hope you are doing well, and we all love you.

Meister has been my mentor since the day I first put the key in the ignition of my 300C and he has provided me with invaluable info and insight, both technical and personal.

If you're having a Meister fest I will be there

Several of us have talked about it...
maybe we should stop talking...
I say early June so as not to interfere with GIFO in Sacramento...
as Meister is signed up for that one right now...
it's May 12 & 13 as an FYI for everyone...
1st or 2nd week of June anyone?
maybe a new thread about it?
