Who Offers the Best Deal for Music DL?

I'm shopping for music download sites and I need your help. There are literally thousands of sites where you can listen, download to MP3, download to your computer, etc., etc.

I want to cut through all the crap and utilize the opinions of people who have more experience at this than I. I'm looking to down load music to burn to CDs. I don't have an MP3 player yet but I'll need that capability too. I do not care to listen to music on my pc from these sites or download videos.

I do not have high speed access at home.

Please post your recommendations and experiences.

Thanks for your help.

Good luck.

I have a feeling the legit sites are all very similar. I have been using iTunes for almost 4 years and have never had a problem. It is very user friendly, compatible with Apple and Windows, and $.99 cents per song. Once downloaded to your computer, then you can burn all the CD's you want. Like you, I have home slow dial-up and the buffering process does take time. So, I have learned to select the list of songs I want to purchase, and then begin the download before going to bed so it's all finished by the time I get up!
