It could be a little wait, but YES!
I have bought most all of my Corvettes from the same dealer for many years. The owner is a street rodder friend for over 20 years and a stand-up guy, who never sells over sticker. I almost got the Z06 for Christmas, but decided on the C6 Z51 instead... Richard Hibbard Chevrolet - Claremont, CA. Ask for my salesman specifically, Bob Kolmos 800.486.4541... tell him Linda, the redhead with the yellow C6 sent you.

Good luck and let us know what you do!
Here's my Christmas present on the lot the dayI took delivery...

Criswell (http://www.criswellauto.com/) has a no markup policy (which they had for as long as I can remember, even before this was an issue, back in the days when Criswell sold Lambos), though I would have thought that by now many dealers would be offering them at MSRP. I'm pretty sure the dealer in Tysons Corner, VA that sells both Chrysler ad Corvette lets them go for MSRP.

mnext02,

It was either car & driver or road & track review, said the Z06 ran very hot because they reduced the insulation on the inside of the car for weight savings.

The exhaust & drive shaft run down the center tunnel. For the driver your right leg, hip & right arm cook. For the passenger it is the left side.
